申命記(Deuteronomy) 15:1 「每逢七年末一年，你要施行豁免。
15:1 At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.
15:2 豁免的定例乃是這樣：凡債主要把所借給鄰舍的豁免了；不可向鄰舍和弟兄追討，因為耶和華的豁免年已經宣告了。
15:2 And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD's release.
15:3 若借給外邦人，你可以向他追討；但借給你弟兄，無論是甚麼，你要鬆手豁免了。
15:3 Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;
15:4-5 你若留意聽從耶和華－你神的話，謹守遵行我今日所吩咐你這一切的命令，就必在你們中間沒有窮人了（在耶和華－你神所賜你為業的地上，耶和華必大大賜福與你。）
15:4 Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:
15:5 Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.
15:6 因為耶和華－你的神必照他所應許你的賜福與你。你必借給許多國民，卻不致向他們借貸；你必管轄許多國民，他們卻不能管轄你。
15:6 For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.

但以理書 9:24 「為你本國之民和你聖城，已經定了七十個七。要止住罪過，除淨罪惡，贖盡罪孽，引進（或譯：彰顯）永義，封住異象和預言，並膏至聖者（者：或譯所）。
馬太福音 18:21 那時，彼得進前來，對耶穌說：「主啊，我弟兄得罪我，我當饒恕他幾次呢？到七次可以嗎？」
18:22 耶穌說：「我對你說，不是到七次，乃是到七十個七次。

馬太福音 18:32 於是主人叫了他來，對他說：『你這惡奴才！你央求我，我就把你所欠的都免了，
18:33 你不應當憐恤你的同伴，像我憐恤你嗎？』
路加福音 19:5 耶穌到了那裏，擡頭一看，對他說：「撒該，快下來！今天我必住在你家裏。」
19:6 他就急忙下來，歡歡喜喜地接待耶穌。
19:8 撒該站着對主說：「主啊，我把所有的一半給窮人；我若訛詐了誰，就還他四倍。」
15:3 若借給外邦人，你可以向他追討；但借給你弟兄，無論是甚麼，你要鬆手豁免了。
外邦人： a foreigner 寄居的
出埃及記(Exodus) 12:43 耶和華對摩西、亞倫說：「逾越節的例是這樣：外邦人都不可吃這羊羔。
12:43 And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:
12:45 寄居的和雇工人都不可吃。
12:45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
12:48 若有外人寄居在你們中間，願向耶和華守逾越節，他所有的男子務要受割禮，然後才容他前來遵守，他也就像本地人一樣；但未受割禮的，都不可吃這羊羔。
12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
以弗所書(Ephesians) 2:19 這樣，你們不再作外人和客旅，是與聖徒同國，是神家裏的人了；
2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
15:4-5 你若留意聽從耶和華－你神的話，謹守遵行我今日所吩咐你這一切的命令，就必在你們中間沒有窮人了（在耶和華－你神所賜你為業的地上，耶和華必大大賜福與你。）
除非在你們中間有窮人
15:4 Save when there shall be no poor among you;
因為耶和華－你神在所賜你為業的地上大大賜福與你。
for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:
只要你留意聽從耶和華－你神的話，謹守遵行我今日所吩咐你這一切的命令。
