Numbers‬ ‭20:22-23‬

‭‭“And they journeyed from Kadesh, and the people of Israel, the whole congregation, came to Mount Hor. And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron at Mount Hor, on the border of the land of Edom,”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭20:22-23‬

And they journeyed from Kadesh,

Kadesh H6946: sanctuary; a place in the Desert. The same as H6945: a quasi sacred person who is a male devotee to licentious idolatry. From H6942: to be clean; sanctify.

“And when I passed by you and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’”

And the people of Israel, the whole congregation, came to Mount Hor.

Mount H2022: a shortened form of H2042 (to loom up); a mountain or range of hills.

Hor H2023: another form for H2022; mountain; the name of a peak.

“And as they brought them out, one said, ‘Escape for your life. Do not look back or stop anywhere in the valley. Escape to the hills, lest you be swept away.’”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭19:17‬

“For he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭24:2-6‬

And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron at Mount Hor, on the border of the land of Edom,

On the border H1366: a cord (as twisted); by implication a boundary; the territory inclosed. From H1379: to twist as a rope; to bound; set bounds about.

“You shall make for the breastpiece twisted chains like cords, of pure gold.”

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭28:22‬

“Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:3‬

“And as soon as you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, you came near to me, all the heads of your tribes, and your elders. And you said, ‘Behold, the Lord our God has shown us his glory and greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. This day we have seen God speak with man, and man still live.”
