“The first was like a lion and had eagles’ wings. Then as I looked its wings were plucked off, and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man, and the mind of a man was given to it.”

The first was like a lion


Like a lion, but not a lion.


Take up a lamentation for the princes of Israel, and say: What was your mother? A lioness!

The eagle’s wings of the mother of the princes of Israel were plucked off; the women of God was given the two wings of the great eagle to fly into the wilderness.


Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

4:33 Immediately the word was fulfilled against Nebuchadnezzar. He was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles' feathers, and his nails were like birds' claws.



and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand
