“To be a reminder to the people of Israel, so that no outsider, who is not of the descendants of Aaron, should draw near to burn incense before the LORD, lest he become like Korah and his company—as the LORD said to him through Moses.”
To be a reminder to the people of Israel,
The reminder was hammered out from the bronze censers, which those who were burned had offered (Numbers 16:39).
Whoever draws near to the altar shall remember this.
So that no outsider, who is not of the descendants of Aaron, should draw near to burn incense before the LORD,
Anyone who is not a priest shall not draw near before the LORD.
“The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.”
“And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.”
Lest he become like Korah and his company

“You shall also make a basin of bronze, with its stand of bronze, for washing. You shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it, with which Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet. When they go into the tent of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn a food offering to the Lord, they shall wash with water, so that they may not die. They shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they may not die. It shall be a statute forever to them, even to him and to his offspring throughout their generations.”
“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
“So also you have some who hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Therefore repent. If not, I will come to you soon and war against them with the sword of my mouth.”
As the LORD said to him through Moses: In Hebrew: through the hand H3027 of Moses.
For the mouth of the LORD has commanded, and his servant has done the works.
“Then I was beside him, like a master workman, and I was daily his delight, rejoicing before him always, rejoicing in his inhabited world and delighting in the children of man.”
Hand H3027: A hand (the open one) indicating power; consecrate; ministry.
“The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat, so do and observe whatever they tell you, but not the works they do. For they preach, but do not practice.”
“None of the transgressions that he has committed shall be remembered against him; for the righteousness that he has done he shall live.”
“It was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure — for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.”
“Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous.”
1 John 3:7

“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.’”
