Numbers 17:12-13

“And the people of Israel said to Moses, ‘Behold, we perish, we are undone, we are all undone. Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of the LORD, shall die. Are we all to perish?’”

And the people of Israel said to Moses,


Said H559: Answer


“When the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, he tore his clothes.”

‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭22:11‬


Behold, we perish, we are undone, we are all undone.


Perish H1478: To breathe out that is to expire; give up the ghost.

Undone undone H6 H6: To wander away that is lose oneself; to perish; utterly be void.


“And he said, ‘Take the arrows,’ and he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, ‘Strike the ground with them.’ And he struck three times and stopped. Then the man of God was angry with him and said, ‘You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck down Syria until you had made an end of it, but now you will strike down Syria only three times.’”

(Strike the ground: strike the heart of man with the arrows.)


Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of the LORD, shall die.


Die H4191: To die; to be killed; worthy of death.

Are we all to perish?


“Jesus answered him, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.’”

‭‭John‬ ‭3:3‬


“And he answered them, ‘Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.’”
