“Then Moses brought out all the staffs from before the Lord to all the people of Israel. And they looked, and each man took his staff.”

Staffs H4294: A branch (as extending); a tribe; a rod for chastising; a rod for ruling (a scepter); a walking staff; a support for life.

“Therefore thus says the LORD: “If you return, I will restore you, and you shall stand before me. If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall be as my mouth. They shall turn to you, but you shall not turn to them.”
