Numbers‬ ‭20:12

“And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, ‘Because you did not believe in me, to uphold me as holy in the eyes of the people of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them.’”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭20:12

And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,

Moses:

“For Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:5‬

“For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

‭‭John‬ ‭1:17‬

“For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:3-4

Aaron:

“For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭7:28‬

“For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; thus it is necessary for this priest also to have something to offer. Now if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at all, since there are priests who offer gifts according to the law.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭8:3-4‬

Because you did not believe in me,

“The priests did not say, ‘Where is the Lord?’ Those who handle the law did not know me; the shepherds transgressed against me; the prophets prophesied by Baal and went after things that do not profit.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭2:8

“He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him.”

‭‭John‬ ‭1:10‬

“But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they pleased. So also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭17:12‬

“But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe.”

‭‭John‬ ‭6:36‬

“Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.”

‭‭John‬ ‭14:11‬

To uphold me as holy in the eyes of the people of Israel,

“How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Moses, on whom you have set your hope.”

‭‭John‬ ‭5:44-45‬

“For when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in his midst, they will sanctify my name; they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob and will stand in awe of the God of Israel. And those who go astray in spirit will come to understanding, and those who murmur will accept instruction.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭29:23-24

Therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them.

“Jesus answered, ‘O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.’”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭9:41‬

“So Jesus again said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.’”

‭‭John‬ ‭10:7‬
