Numbers‬ ‭22:5‬

“Sent messengers to Balaam the son of Beor at Pethor, which is near the River in the land of the people of Amaw, to call him, saying, “Behold, a people has come out of Egypt. They cover the face of the earth, and they are dwelling opposite me.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭22:5‬

Sent messengers: Balak, who was king of Moab, sent messengers.

Sent H7971: A primitive root; to send away, for, or out (in a great variety of applications).

Messengers: H4397: From an unused root meaning to despatch as a deputy; a messenger ; specifically of God, that is, an angel (also a prophet, priest or teacher): - ambassador, angel, king, messenger.

“And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”

Pethor H6604: Of foreign origin; Pethor, a place in Mesopotamia. BDB Lexicon:

Pethor = "soothsayer"

The River H5104: From נָהַר H5102; a stream (including the sea ; especially the Nile, Euphrates, etc.); figuratively, prosperity: - flood, river. H5102: A primitive root; to sparkle, that is, (figuratively) be cheerful ; hence (from the sheen of a running stream) to flow, that is, (figuratively) assemble: - flow (together), be lightened.
