“I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near: a star shall come out of Jacob, and a scepter shall rise out of Israel; it shall crush the forehead of Moab and break down all the sons of Sheth.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭24:17‬

I see him, but not now;

See H7200: A primitive root; to see, literally or figuratively (in numerous applications, direct and implied, transitively, intransitively and causatively): - advise self, appear, approve, behold.

I behold him, but not near:

Behold H7789: A primitive root (rather identical with שׁוּר H7788 through the idea of going round for inspection); to spy out, that is, (generally) survey, (for evil) lurk for, (for good) care for: - behold, lay wait, look, observe, perceive, regard, see. H7788: A primitive root; properly to turn, that is, travel about (as a harlot or a merchant): - go, sing.

Near H7138: From קָרַב H7126; near (in place, kindred or time): - allied, approach, at hand, + any of kin, kinsfolk (-sman), (that is) near (of kin), neighbour, (that is) next, (them that come) nigh (at hand), more ready, short (-ly). 1 John 3:2 Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.3:3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

A star shall come out of Jacob,

Star H3556: Probably from the same as כַּבּוֹן H3522 (in the sense of rolling) or כָּוָה H3554 (in the sense of blazing); a star (as round or as shining); figuratively a prince.

Revelation 11:1 Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, "Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there,
