Numbers‬ ‭24:18‬

“Edom shall be dispossessed; Seir also, his enemies, shall be dispossessed. Israel is doing valiantly.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭24:18‬

Genesis 36:8 So Esau settled in the hill country of Seir. (Esau is Edom.)

Edom shall be dispossessed;

Edom H123: From אָדֹם H122; red (see Gen_25:25); Edom, the elder twin-brother of Jacob; hence the region (Idumaea) occuped by him: - Edom, Edomites, Idumea. H122: From אָדַם H119; rosy: - red, ruddy.

Jeremiah 49:7 Concerning Edom. Thus says the LORD of hosts:"Is wisdom no more in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished?

Genesis 25:25 The first came out red, all his body like a hairy cloak, so they called his name Esau.25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, "Let me eat some of that red stew, for I am exhausted!" (Therefore his name was called Edom.)

Hebrews 12:16 that no one is sexually immoral or unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal.

Dispossessed H3424: From יָרַשׁ H3423; occupancy: - possession. H3423: A primitive root; to occupy (be driving out previous tenants, and possessing in their place); by implication to seize, to rob, to inherit ; also to expel, to impoverish, to ruin.

Hebrews 11:20 By faith Isaac invoked future blessings on Jacob and Esau.

Obadiah 1:21 Saviors shall go up to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau, and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.

Obadiah 1:6 How Esau has been pillaged, his treasures sought out!1:7 All your allies have driven you to your border; those at peace with you have deceived you; they have prevailed against you; those who eat your bread have set a trap beneath you— you have no understanding.1:8 Will I not on that day, declares the LORD, destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of Mount Esau?

Ezekiel‬ ‭25:14‬ And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, declares the LORD God.

‭‭

Seir also, his enemies, shall be dispossessed.

Seir (his enemies) H8165: Formed like שָׂעִיר H8163; rough ; Seir, a mountain of Idumaea and its aboriginal occupants, also one in Palestine. H8163: From שָׂעַר H8175; shaggy ; as noun, a he goat ; by analogy a faun.

Ephesians 2:1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins2:2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience—2:3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

Isaiah 21:11 The oracle concerning Dumah. One is calling to me from Seir,"Watchman, what time of the night? Watchman, what time of the night?"21:12 The watchman says:"Morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire; come back again."

Romans 13:11 Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.13:12 The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.5:3 While people are saying, "There is peace and security," then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.5:4 But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief.5:5 For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.5:6 So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.

Dispossessed H3424: From יָרַשׁ H3423; occupancy: - possession. H3423: A primitive root; to occupy (be driving out previous tenants, and possessing in their place); by implication to seize, to rob, to inherit ; also to expel, to impoverish, to ruin.

Deuteronomy 33:2 He said,"The LORD came from Sinai and dawned from Seir upon us; he shone forth from Mount Paran; he came from the ten thousands of holy ones, with flaming fire at his right hand.

Ezekiel 35:2 "Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it,35:3 and say to it, Thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and a waste.35:4 I will lay your cities waste, and you shall become a desolation, and you shall know that I am the LORD.35:5 Because you cherished perpetual enmity and gave over the people of Israel to the power of the sword at the time of their calamity, at the time of their final punishment.

Judges 5:3 "Hear, O kings; give ear, O princes; to the LORD I will sing; I will make melody to the LORD, the God of Israel.5:4 " LORD, when you went out from Seir, when you marched from the region of Edom, the earth trembled and the heavens dropped, yes, the clouds dropped water.

Israel is doing valiantly.

Valiantly H2428: From חוּל H2342; probably a force, whether of men, means or other resources; an army, wealth, virtue, valor, strength. H2342: A primitive root; properly to twist or whirl (in a circular or spiral manner), that is, (specifically) to dance, to writhe in pain (especially of parturition) or fear; figuratively to wait, to pervert.

Psalm 60:12 With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.

Song of Songs 6:4 You are beautiful as Tirzah, my love, lovely as Jerusalem, awesome as an army with banners.
