Numbers‬ ‭34‬:‭10‬-‭12

“You shall draw a line for your eastern border from Hazar-enan to Shepham. And the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain. And the border shall go down and reach to the shoulder of the Sea of Chinnereth on the east. And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and its limit shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land as defined by its borders all around.”

You shall draw a line for your eastern border from Hazar-enan to Shepham.


Hazar-enan H2704: From חָצֵר H2691 and the same as עֵינָןH5881; village of springs.

Shepham H8221: Probably from שָׁפָה H8192; bare spot. H8192: A primitive root; to abrade, that is, bare: - high, stick out.

And the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain.


Riblah H7247: From an unused root meaning to be fruitful ; fertile.

Ain H5871: The same as עַיִן H5869; fountain. H5869: Probably a primitive word; an eye (literally or figuratively); by analogy a fountain (as the eye of the landscape).

And the border shall go down and reach to the shoulder of the Sea of Chinnereth on the east.


Chinnereth H3672: Respectively plural and singular feminine from the same as כִּנּוֹר H3658; perhaps harp shaped. H3658: From an unused root meaning to twang ; a harp.
